Kick-start 2025 trying something new. Our super popular Have a Go sessions are the first step on your journey to keeping fit, getting social and developing this traditional skill in a great easy-to-get-to indoor London location.

Have a Go at Archery sessions act as a brilliant taster before deciding on a full beginners course - they're also a great option for just getting out and about in London and trying something new. The 1.5 hr session will be fun, social and involve a little bit of activity!

Our archery club shoots at two locations. Monday and Wednesday evening sessions are at The Harris Academy, Bermondsey. This is just 2mins on the bus from Elephant & Castle or about 10mins walk from Bermondsey Tube. It's a great venue with a spacious hall, heating, great lighting etc!

Weekend sessions (and some events) are at The Downside Centre which is on Druid St - about 10mins walk from London Bridge tube station. Our local area is awesome - especially for a Saturday visit. There are some great Borough Market overspills really close to us - there's an outpost of Monmouth coffee, a great 'greasy spoon' and a local microbrew pub!

We run 'Have a Go at Archery' most Saturdays, on occasional Sunday afternoons and on Monday & Wednesday evenings throughout the month. As an indoor club based in central London 2020 Archery is a great club for your first experience of this fabulous modern yet traditional sport. You'll be having a go at shooting recurve bows - the kind they used in the Olympics - in a traditional way so an excellent start to either longbow or sighted Olympic style shooting. The session will be led by our excellent, friendly instructors.

The session is a great intro (equivalent to week 1 of our 5 week course) and as we run our beginners courses continuously you should be able to find a suitable course starting soon to enroll on if you've got the bug!
